Definations of ICT in education

  •  UNESCO: According to UNESCO, ICT in Education refers to "various digital technologies and tools used to produce, store, process, distribute, and exchange information."
  • Tony Bates: In his book "Teaching in a Digital Age," Tony Bates defines ICT in Education as "the set of technologies that support communication, information processing, and transmission, which can be used to enhance and support teaching and learning."
  • Diana Laurillard: In "Teaching as a Design Science," Diana Laurillard describes ICT in Education as "the digital technologies that enable educators to design, deliver, and assess learning  experiences, facilitating interaction and communication among students and teachers."
