Components of ICT

 Main Components of ICT:


1. Hardware:

These are the physical parts of a computer system such as monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, CPU, projector, etc.

2. Software:

Software refers to the programs and applications that run on hardware, such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and educational software.

3. Data:

Data means raw facts and figures that are processed into meaningful information, like marks, names, or records.

4. People (Users):

People are the users who operate ICT tools — teachers, students, and other professionals.

5. Procedures:

These are the rules and methods used to collect, process, and share information properly.

6. Networks:

Networks connect computers and devices together to share data and resources (e.g., Internet, LAN, Wi-Fi).
